Advocacy and Safe Home (ASH):
The Center can provide victims and their young children with a safe house to stay in case of emergency. This house is in a confidential location and is equipped with all the necessities and comforts to allow women and their children a safe haven while building confidence and skills to face their futures. According to State policy, only women and their children our allowed to stay in the safe house. The Center has contracts with various hotels/motels in our area so that we can put men and their children in a safe place.

Human Services Network (HSN):
This advisory group of leaders in our community come to network about how to improve human services in Beaverhead and Madison Counties.
Sexual Assault Response Team (SART):
Being sexually assaulted can be the most frightening and overwhelming experience anyone may have. There are many legal and health issues involved. The Sexual Assault Response Team in Beaverhead County has assembled in order to make this easier on the person who has been sexually assaulted. This group's goals include: prosecuting offenders to the fullest extent of the law; informing victims of their rights; letting the victim make the choice about what services to receive; confidentiality/privacy; recognizing the need to follow-up services as requested by the victim; and community education.
Care Givers Group:
This group is designed to give support and offer services to those who are caring for someone who is elderly, with disabilities, or otherwise unable to care for themselves. Care Givers Group meets every other Tuesday above State Bank. For more information, please contact The Center at (406) 683-6106.
Parenting Group:
This group is designed to help parents build skills in the challenging task of raising children. Parents will learn positive discipline techniques, stress and anger management skills, cognitive and developmental stages of children, and effective communication skills. Parenting Group meets the requirements for court-ordered parenting classes in Beaverhead County. The group meets every other Thursday at 4:00pm at the Grace Methodist Church. Upcoming dates are April 28th, May 12th, and May 26th.
Public School Outreach:
School age children are at a delicate age of learning behavior and skills. Through primary prevention techniques (preventing a problem before it occurs), improvements can be made in schools regarding health and safety. Our staff members are dedicated to working with school teachers and administration in preventing harassment, bullying, and assaults.
University/Public Presentations:
Staff members regularly facilitate presentations and discussions with a variety of adults, including students at the University of Montana Western. Presentations are modified to fit the needs of audience members.
